Mini Reviews

This was really cool and super creepy. I snagged the audiobook version, and the narrator was great. This is one of those books I talked about as it got weirder and weirder. This book is a short read, and a short listen, perfect for curling up in front of a tree, a fire, or curled under blankets. Christmas Lore dives deep into a lot of Eastern European winter lore (it branches slightly into Japan toward the end). I found it super fascinating. I listen to this while doing chores and prepping at work. It's definitely one I'll revisit again, next year. Because I listened to this in two big runs, and I easily missed some chapters. But, if you looking for something spooky, weird, and a little Christmasy, check this one out!

This is one of my favorite movies to watch during the Christmas season, only to be beat out by the retro Rudolph with Bumble and the misfit toys. It's also been years since I've read this book, but this year my brother came in with a fun Christmas surprise when he sent me the link to the audiobook version of this with Boris Karloff. It was so much fun. At only a little over twenty minutes long it was a fun little listen while I put away laundry and did a few random chores. Loved it so much!

HAPPY READING!!
