July Wrap Up

It was a really good month for me. I was able to get the Fourth of July off, which meant I got to Skype with my parents for a little bit before they went to shoot off fireworks. It also meant I got to cook for friends that night and binged movies all night! For the most part it was pretty quiet after that. I was able to get myself back on a schedule and get back to writing as well as reading. My flatmate was home for a few days which was fun. I love living alone for a few months out of the year, but I do miss her when she's away for work. Oh! I got to knock something epic off my bucket list. I was able to see Dita Von Teese live! It was amazing!! Works been crazy, which is always good despite it being exhausting. For some reason we've got a heatwave going out here, which I'm so not use to. Why most it be so hot?!

I've been binge watching a few shows this month: Burn Notice and Ripper Street. Both are shows I started when they were on TV, but for some reason never finished them. Not really sure why, since I love both of them.

Oh, and I can't forget Game of Thrones is back on the air. I'm an episode behind which I'm a few minutes from catching up on after I get some food cooking. The weather has finally cooled enough that I can turn the fracking oven on!

Diana longs to prove herself to her legendary warrior sisters. But when the opportunity finally comes, she throws away her chance at glory and breaks Amazon law—risking exile—to save a mere mortal. Even worse, Alia Keralis is no ordinary girl and with this single brave act, Diana may have doomed the world.

Alia just wanted to escape her overprotective brother with a semester at sea. She doesn’t know she is being hunted. When a bomb detonates aboard her ship, Alia is rescued by a mysterious girl of extraordinary strength and forced to confront a horrible truth: Alia is a Warbringer—a direct descendant of the infamous Helen of Troy, fated to bring about an age of bloodshed and misery.

Together, Diana and Alia will face an army of enemies—mortal and divine—determined to either destroy or possess the Warbringer. If they have any hope of saving both their worlds, they will have to stand side by side against the tide of war.
